Why We Exist

Many members of the Somali diaspora have faced unfair treatment at airports, including being denied boarding despite holding valid travel documents. These violations of their rights highlight the urgent need for oversight and accountability within the aviation sector.

Somali Aviation was created to investigate such incidents, advocate for passenger rights, and work toward reclaiming and protecting the dignity and fair treatment of all travelers connected to Somalia.
